Seminar Photos and Reviews
We at Gentry Martial Arts have been fortunate to train under some top rate martial arts masters/instructors. We could write endlessly about our thoughts, opinions and experiences with many of these people. Many of our instructors and friends (usually both) deserve such a write-up, but in doing so we would just be hyping our own. Additionally, most of our students should already be familiar with these individuals and so they need no introduction. We have also made the effort to supplement our experience by seeking out many other well respected, top tier martial artists with whom we are not formally associated. We do not want to overstate our relationship with these people, but their teachings have sometimes been valuable in giving us new perspective or adding another piece to the puzzle. Our students can benefit from these "resources" in a couple of ways. We feel it is always beneficial to be aware of how other people are training in comparison to us, and as earlier stated, new perspectives and variations of technique may yield deeper insight. Thus, the esteemed list of martial artists that we choose to include is certainly not an exhaustive Hall of Fame, but represents a selected group whose teachings have relevance to GMA curricula and are a recommended source of additional study. It is also our intention that the write-up will be more than just an endorsement, but in and of itself be a resource to students, both on a personal and technical level.
