  Taekwondo Color belt testing will be held on Friday at 5:30pm. No Taekwondo class will be held. Please arrive early to warm up and stretch.

  We will be holding a special class and stripe test for our TKD black belts at the park before our school picnic.

  Break-a-thon and Spring Picnic. (Pritchard Park )

  It is time for our annual school picnic and break-a-thon to benefit our scholarship program which
  
  provides scholarships for students to become or stay involved in martial arts. Some of our own students benefit from this fund, so we need your continued support, plus it is great chance for our students to get a lot of breaking practice! The break-a-thon will begin at 12:00 (arrive at 11:30) with a picnic and fun and games to follow.
  This year we will be having it at Pritchard Park (off Blue Bluff Rd).
  Parents committee will provide the main dish. Please sign up according to belt rank to bring side dishes, desserts, etc. Students DO NOT need to wear doboks to the breakathon (egg toss appropriate clothing strongly encouraged).

  GMA will be holding Hapkido black belt Testing. Cermony will be immediately afterward.

  Demo Team Practice (GMA-M)

  GMA will hold demo team practice at GMA-M. We will be starting development of our new show, so this is a great time to start. Come with ideas and music that you think would go well.

  We will be planning on having a school cleaning day. This is tentative. Help is always welcome.

  We will do our best to adhere to the following schedule:
  8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Weigh-in for all Kids and all Juniors (all belts for Jrs.)
  10:00 a.m. Competition begins for Kids and Juniors
  9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Weigh-in for Purple, Brown, and Black Belts
  11:00 a.m. Competition begins for Purple, Brown, and Black Belts
  10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Weigh-in for Blue Belts (ages 16 and up)
  12:00 noon Competition begins for Blue Belts
  12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. Weigh-in for White Belts (ages 16 and up)

  Weigh-ins will only be done 1 hour prior to your scheduled competition on the day of the tournament.
  ***Once again this Year*** Kids (ages 6 – 15) will be weighed-in.
  At weigh-in you will:
  1. Present a valid form of identification
  2. Weigh-in with your GI ON. (Competitors who do not make the weight division they registered for will automatically be disqualified)

  TTCA Summer Camp (Louisville)
  10:00 AM-6:00 PM
  Sign up right away for the TTCA summer camp June 1st. The format will be like last year. Training all day and then a Korean meal at the end.  Lunch will be provided.  It will still fulfill the event and point requirements for TTCA dan ranks.

  HKD Day camp (GMA-M)
  June 10-June 14
  We are now taking sign ups for our GMA daycamps. These are week long intensive training sessions
  from 9:00-3:30 each day. They are the equivalent of 30 classes and 3-5 points and cover a full belt rank's
  material in one very serious week. History and philosophy, how to write the black belt papers, and other
  knowledge not normally covered in class is also taught. While eating lunch, the education continues with video
  footage of Korean martial arts or related fields. And there is still time for some fun and games like martial arts
  dodgeball. Large discounts are available for multiple camps or multiple family members. Additionally, get the discounted
  rate if you pre-register the month of May.

  Master Chen Tai Chi Seminar (IU Bloomington)
  June 21-June 23
  There will be a Tai Chi Seminar presented by Master Chen in Bloomington. Details will be announced in class.
